Web Analysis Of Gofundme Project - 750 Words

At the beginning of the project my role was the social media manager, and let me tell you; it is harder than you think. So our groups main concern though was money to build the Geralds and where we were going to get it from. So it was my top priority and concern to find a credible fundraising site to use that would be credible. As it was suggested by my peers to create a GoFundMe account under my name because I have a credit card I was a little nervous about it. While reading about the site though, it seemed to be the first fundraising site to use. Even though GoFundMe website says it was â€Å"#1 fundraising platform† with people having raised more here than any other site (GoFundMe). So me being me I have no problem with that, except pretty†¦show more content†¦The last two sites (GiveForward and YouCaring) are co-fund sites, meaning I put my info in for the GiveForward site it takes me to the signup page for YouCaring, and that singles a red flag to me. In the end of it, all came down to knowing GoFundMe was the best site for our type of fundraiser. Later on in the project, my role was permanently switched to Task Manager so I had to think of another thing to research since our social media/fundraising situation was pretty much squared away and plateaued. We also at this point in time we agreed that the logo was a little complicated for our project; so we decided to change it. So before we changed the logo, we had green, pink, black, gray, and white in effect to give our logo a more authentic feel. After doing more research on our topic group and project I decided to use green and yellow. The color yellow when it comes to marketing symbolizes optimism, clarity, and warmth. Since yellow is not only a primary color but a very rich color, it is often associated with gold and treasure. In mundane situations and habitats, it stands out very easily because it’s so bright. The color green is still going to be used since it symbolizes peace, health, and conveys growth. This color also mainly deals with the environment. Companies that use this color have to do with the earth and more organic substances.
